The problem is you cannot use Martial Arts in a "street fight."Let me tell you what I know from 30 yrs. on the street and my dealings with Courts. Let's say that you get jumped in an alley by a guy who is unarmed. You deliver a palm strike and catch him where you wanted to, then you strike him with a hammer fist, in the Kidneys to straiten him up. Using a foot sweep,he drops. You decide to stomp his sternum. In the eyes of current law, once he is on the ground, your sternum stomp makes you now the aggressor. The Judge will/has ruled that you were no longer in danger, and you are now charged with Agg.Battery. And for your sake, do not mention Martial Arts. That means trained for war-you were just in a street fight. Been there. Do NOT use a kubaton with a point-it is no longer a stick-it has the potential of a killing tool. Anytime you disarm a guy, don't go ballistic-the law says the threat was "removed." Crazy?yea! The last time, I just walked away-no cops. Another less known fact is that the Police do not have to protect you.Murry vs Supreme court.Be very carefull! Best>larry

Between me and my wife we've purchased more Tasers over the years than I can count. But, no matter what self defense product you use, you need to keep it handy.

If you're still on the fence about what self defense product you should own, I suggest a Taser. You can't go wrong with this.
